PUBLIC WORKSHOPS

SPRING 2013 SCHEDULE

Each year we conduct scores of writing workshops for teachers, supervisors, and administrators. Workshops are held throughout the United States in convenient locations, such as hotels, and are open to educators from the surrounding school districts.

We take great pride in ensuring that all of our workshops are both informative and entertaining. Our associates (presenters) are chosen because of their extensive knowledge of K-12 education, their outstanding teaching ability, and their expertise in the field of writing. They also have superb presentation and communication skills and believe wholeheartedly in the lifelong benefits to students that result from using the Collins Writing ProgramSM.

SATISFACTION RATINGS

Between 1986 and 2012, we conducted over 900 open-to-the-public workshops that were attended by over 28,000 participants from 31 states.  In these workshops, we ask the question, “Compared to other workshops you have attended, how would you rate this workshop?”  We use a 1 to 10 evaluation scale, with 1 designated “not effective at all”; 5, “an average experience”; and 10, “one of the best I’ve attended".  Our evaluations have averaged an outstanding 9.2+ over the past 24 years.
